Art Club

Known as UUCC Unique Card Creations, the Art Club offers handmade greeting cards available for purchase after worship the first Sunday of each month. Proceeds from greeting card sales go to the general church budget. Art Club members work together, at church or at home, to create the cards by various means.

The Art Club is working on a new project that we hope will become an annual tradition—hand-made desktop calendars! Each calendar month is designed by a different artist using the art medium of choice. For 2010, these mediums include: fabric art, Japanese block print, painting, photography, rubber stamp art, and watercolors. Interested in designing a calendar month for 2011? Contact Ann Boes, ann.boes@urbucc.org

Regular work times are the 4th Sunday of each month from 1-4 pm. Come for part of the time or the whole time—and bring your own projects or just yourself and a smile. We'll find a project for you!! New members are always welcome! Contact Ann Boes.

Book Club

Love to read? Or talk about books? Please join us. We regularly meet on the 2nd Thursday of the month at 7 p.m. in the Urbandale Library cafe. Occasionally we meet in someone's home. Check The Call for current and upcoming featured books.

Women's Fellowship

We provide not only fellowship for the women of the church, but also offer personal and spiritual growth. We also provides service to the church (e.g., collating The Call and getting it ready for mailing) and the wider community (e.g., a Birthday Party is held yearly for children at Moulton School). All women in the congregation are eligible for membership. We usually meet in the afternoon, the 2nd Wednesday of the month, September through May.

YouthTime

YouthTime gatherings are for youth in 9th-12th grade, to work on exciting projects or just to have fun together. Read more about YouthTime on the Youth page.
